Professor Peter Orton - Aviation Medical Examiner & Panel Doctor
Dr Peter Orton is uniquely placed in bringing a clear and full understanding of the difficulties facing pilots, human resource departments and individuals in relation to both Aviation and Corporate Medical Examinations. He is a current C1 pilot, holding a CPL and IR, and flies a Cirrus SR22 on a regular basis.
Formerly a General Practitioner for many years, he has trained extensively in the UK and USA to become an approved Aviation Medical Examiner. His experience allows him to provide a full range of medical services. He has an understanding of Health and Safety regulations, company health policies, and the needs required for statutory and individual medical assessments. He is active in the GP education sector developing courses for GPs for the Royal College of General Practitioner’s Learning Unit at the University of Bath, where he is Professor of Medical Education.
Dr Vincent Kielty - Aviation Medical Examiner & Occupational Health
Dr Vincent Kielty became interested in aviation medicine having gained his private pilots licence in 1993. His medical experience has included work as a General Practitioner for 17 years, medical adviser on Disability to several private companies and currently an Occupational Health Physician. His own flying career includes aerobatic flying. Vincent brings an understanding and enjoyment of the challenges of flying to enhance his work at Aviation Medica.
Dr Anne Vanner - Occupational Health Doctor
Dr Anne Vanner has worked as a GP for many years. Using her experience with the industrial and aviation sectors, she now concentrates on Occupational Health Medicine for businesses operating in these sectors. She is an Associate of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine and is well positioned to assist companies with Occupational Health legislation issues and employment tribunal procedures.
