Professor Peter Orton - Aviation Medical Examiner & Panel Doctor

Dr Peter Orton is uniquely placed in bringing a clear and full understanding of the difficulties facing pilots, human resource departments and individuals in relation to both Aviation and Corporate Medical Examinations. He is a current pilot, holding a CPL and IR, and flies a Cirrus SR20 on a regular basis.

Formerly a General Practitioner for many years, he has trained extensively in the UK and USA to become an approved Aviation Medical Examiner. His experience allows him to provide a full range of medical services. He has an understanding of Health and Safety regulations, company health policies, and the needs required for statutory and individual medical assessments. He is active in the GP education sector developing courses for GPs for the Royal College of General Practitioner’s Learning Unit at the University of Bath, where he is Professor of Medical Education.

Dr Vincent Kielty - Aviation Medical Examiner & Occupational Health

Dr Vincent Kielty became interested in aviation medicine having gained his private pilots licence in 1993. His medical experience has included work as a General Practitioner for 17 years, medical adviser on Disability to several private companies and currently an Occupational Health Physician. His own flying career includes aerobatic flying. Vincent brings an understanding and enjoyment of the challenges of flying to enhance his work at Aviation Medica.

Dr Tessa Dormon - General Practitioner & Panel Doctor

Tessa has been a GP for many years and as well as working 3 days a week in general practice, specialises in driving medicals for us here at Aviation Medica. She has a broad band of experience, useful in carrying out the medical examinations required for taxi and HGV licences. She is a keen scuba diver and likes to travel

Dr Anne Vanner - Occupational Health Doctor

Dr Anne Vanner has worked as a GP for many years. Using her experience with the industrial and aviation sectors, she now concentrates on Occupational Health Medicine for businesses operating in these sectors. She is an Associate of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine and is well positioned to assist companies with Occupational Health legislation issues and employment tribunal procedures.

Denise McCrone - Registered Nurse

Denise has many years experience as a Nurse both in the public and private sector. She has an interest in well person health screening and occupational health. She has a Diploma in Occupational Health Nursing and is well placed to provide advice on work-related health issues. She is also able to provide travel health advice and vaccinations.

Lucy Cholidi - Registered Nurse

Lucy has worked as a nurse for 8 years in the public sector and has an interest in public health & screening. She has recently completed a university course in infection control & has a broad knowledge and understanding in infection control and prevention. Lucy uses this knowledge in her role here, particularly with travel health and vaccinations.
